English A cute comedy that doesn't lose its swing or flair from start to finish. Pierre Mondy acts very naturally, and with grace and ease he gets into situations that are carefully planned, although he considers them to be fate. The enchanting Claudia Cardinale as his wife can be seen mainly at the beginning and the end of the film, meanwhile she is "represented" by the equally charming Clio Goldsmith. Add to this a multitude of misunderstandings, confusions and embarrassments involving the protagonist's superior, his son, his insistent suitor and others, Legrand's lively music... And you have an excellent film for morning, afternoon, evening and night. ()
