We Can Be Heroes (2015) (S03E11)

English As far as humor is concerned, Joe Caputo is at the top for me, I can guarantee that I will have a good time with him. The plot of the series takes place in a prison, yet the eleventh episode was mainly dedicated to the establishment of labor unions, whether it was about guards or illegal sales to fetishists. There was plenty to laugh about, but it still maintains a serious tone. 3*+ ()

Don't Make Me Come Back There (2015) (S03E12)

English The twelfth episode didn't bore me in any way, but on the other hand, it didn't really impress me either. The creators managed to add humor to the plot, and they also tried to play a more serious note, but in previous seasons, they clearly showed that they can do it better. I don't know if they noticed, but somehow they lost the element of tension in the series. ()

Trust No Bitch (2015) (S03E13)

English Although the final episode seemed too long to me again, it was one of the most successful episodes of the third season (sadly, it probably isn't even a compliment). As usual, Joe Caputo took care of the entertainment for me, but I was also amused by the godfather and the culmination of the dissatisfaction of the guards. 4* ()

Season 4 (2016) (S04)

English What a qualitative leap forward after the disaster that was the previous season. I consider Season 3 a kind of creative blackout. Season 4 was great fun, offered a good dose of humor, didn’t lack quality drama with elaborate atmosphere, so I didn’t have to fear boring episodes full of unnecessary filler and had a great time. ()

Work That Body for Me (2016) (S04E01)

English The fourth season didn't start bad at all, compared to the beginning of the previous series there was a big improvement. I didn't have to fight boredom because I accepted that the creators turned the American prison system into absolute absurdistan and I had a very good time. ()

Power Suit (2016) (S04E02)

English The second episode seemed to me to be half a star weaker than the previous episode, but it still had a solid level. True, I didn't particularly like the main character of the series, but I admit that I enjoy it when they float on their cloud of false self-confidence. I laughed, unlike in the third season, I also noticed a functional dramatic storyline, so I rate it as 4*-. ()

(Don't) Say Anything (2016) (S04E03)

English This time, the pace of the story slightly slowed down and the episode took me back in time to the previous season. There was a lot of talking, but rather small, insignificant matters were being addressed. The storyline, which promised some tension and thickening of the atmosphere, practically disappeared, and even the humor decreased. ()

Doctor Psycho (2016) (S04E04)

English While in the previous episode the plot was slightly boring, here it wasn't a threat. Once again, the creators skillfully managed the more serious aspects of the story, but they didn't forget to include a decent amount of humor. It wasn't a five-star episode, but it entertained me and definitely deserved four thumbs up from me. ()

We'll Always Have Baltimore (2016) (S04E05)

English During the course of the fifth episode, I wasn't completely uninhibited and I wasn't exactly brimming with excitement, but I had a really good time with Joe Caputo at the conference, and at the end of the episode, I laughed uproariously. Creating a racist group by mistake as part of improving relationships in prison, now that's art. ()

Piece of Sh*t (2016) (S04E06)

English And the sixth episode belonged to those that calmly roll through the parts of the third season. I definitely had something to laugh at and I must repeat that the creators began to make the dramatic plot work in the fourth season, which I missed so much in the third. I'm having a good time so far. ()

It Sounded Nicer in My Head (2016) (S04E07)

English After the third season, I didn't expect this kind of storyline development at all, now I feel like the screenwriters were struggling with some serious brain-cell destroying illness, which they managed to overcome. The episodes of the fourth season are incomparably better and I'm really enjoying them. ()

Friends in Low Places (2016) (S04E08)

English Although the previous episode was stronger, I still gave it a five-star rating this time because I was very satisfied nonetheless. The debate about racism between Judy King and Poussey caused me a headache, but it also played out excellently on a serious note. 5*. ()

Turn Table Turn (2016) (S04E09)

English The ninth episode seemed to be too serious for me, after all, I had gotten used to the return of humor in this season, but it appeared sporadically here. The whole episode relied mainly on dramatic events, which the creators fortunately handled well, so I didn't experience any unnecessary boredom. ()

Bunny, Skull, Bunny, Skull (2016) (S04E10)

English Even though I was glad that my favorite figurine returned to me, I have to admit that her drug problem is starting to bother me quite a bit because it unnecessarily slows down the pace of the story. While I missed a larger amount of humor again, I was generally satisfied with the development and the ending entertained me a lot. ()

People Persons (2016) (S04E11)

English In this case, I did not rely on humor (although the threesome with Judy King had its charms), all the positives were taken care of by the dramatic part, once again the creators managed to produce a really tense atmosphere and I greatly enjoyed the whole episode. ()

The Animals (2016) (S04E12)

English The twelfth episode followed on from the previous part not only in terms of plot, but also maintained its depressive atmosphere and interesting development of the dramatic storyline. Granted, I admit that some matters seemed to have been taken beyond the bounds of reality, but then again, what do I know about a land of unlimited possibilities, right? ()

Toast Can't Never Be Bread (2016) (S04E13)

English The plot of the final episode of the fourth season wasn't as captivating for me as in the previous two episodes, and I originally had the intention of rating it four stars, but... It was actually just a big funeral for a deceased character, and my cynical self simply didn't buy into it. At certain moments, I had the feeling that it wasn't Poussey who died in the series, but Samira Wiley in real life. I think the creators were pushing too hard on the emotional aspect, and that doesn't work for me. ()

Season 5 (2017) (S05)

English I raved about the previous season, but I wasn’t very satisfied this time in spite of my relatively high rating. Some episodes weren't bad at all, some were even great. Despite being somehow benevolent regarding this series, I was annoyed by some weird logic goofs. There were so many of them in the last three episodes that I’m starting to think that the writers were using unconventional food supplements during the writing process. 4*- ()

Riot FOMO (2017) (S05E01)

English I approached the previous season as a matter that doesn't really cooperate with reality, thanks to which I was able to enjoy it without having to dwell on obvious nonsense. After watching the first episode of the fifth season, I decided to continue with the proven procedure and it still works. ()

F*ck, Marry, Frieda (2017) (S05E02)

English The great atmosphere from the previous episode sort of faded away here, at times I even felt like the creators didn't know how to move forward. However, the flashbacks from Frieda's life perfectly saved the situation and I really enjoyed them. Additionally, I finally understood why it's good to be a scout, the MacGyver-like window was really funny. ()
