Pissters! (2017) (S05E03)

English I can't shake the feeling that after a great, fast-paced opening episode, the story gradually loses momentum. I have the impression that the creators are somewhat stuck with the prison rebellion and are currently struggling to find a meaningful solution. The third part was not bad, but some plotlines felt rather uninteresting to me. ()

Litchfield's Got Talent (2017) (S05E04)

English Compared to the previous installment, I have witnessed some improvement, the story has picked up pace, but this time I haven't experienced such a high-quality atmosphere as in the opening episode. It would be great if the creators worked on the atmosphere or added more humor so that I could rate it higher. ()

Sing It, White Effie (2017) (S05E05)

English The fifth episode, in terms of quality, was on par with the previous one, and under normal circumstances, I would rate it with four pieces. However, it excessively dwelled emotionally on the fate of black people, which, in my opinion, has become quite tiresome. ()

Flaming Hot Cheetos, Literally (2017) (S05E06)

English Although this time the creators focused more on interpersonal relationships and states of mind, while negotiations between rebels (wow, that's a word, if it even is) and authorities were slightly sidelined, I enjoyed it fairly well, and if Pelíšky taught me that I shouldn't commit suicide with an electric oven, now I know that I should read the composition before drinking paint. 4* ()

Full Bush, Half Snickers (2017) (S05E07)

English The seventh episode seemed to me to be somewhat different, the creators somewhat deviated from the main plot, so the whole rebellion somewhat faded into the background, and instead of the usual dialogues and possible action, I saw one of the most human episodes since the beginning of the series. ()

Tied to the Tracks (2017) (S05E08)

English After the previous more humane episode, a series with proper action and drama came, I really like it, the contrast is very nice. The whole story is developing quite interestingly (and therefore also entertainingly) and it would be a shame if the creators didn't manage the final third of the season. 4*+ ()

The Tightening (2017) (S05E09)

English In the ninth episode, the creators managed to excellently combine Piscatello's action storyline with the ongoing negotiation for the release of hostages and the end of the rebellion. In the end, I was not bored at all, Caputo once again managed to reliably make me laugh, so I was very satisfied. ()

The Reverse Midas Touch (2017) (S05E10)

English I praised the previous episode for its excellently mixed plot, and the tenth episode was even better in this regard. I don't even know which storyline I enjoyed more, but I would probably choose the funniest one, which was definitely Caputo's negotiation with Fig. ()

Breaking the Fiberboard Ceiling (2017) (S05E11)

English I had a feeling that the perfectly functioning plot in the eleventh episode unnecessarily fell apart, I was not too interested in what was happening around Lorna and Suzanne, and the whole episode lost its pace because of it, which was a shame because after the previous part I was hoping to only praise it. ()

Tattoo You (2017) (S05E12)

English So I concluded that the series has nothing to do with reality, and only because of that I was able to enjoy it to some extent. However, here the script occasionally bit its own author in the ass. I was quite far from any enthusiasm, and if no one else does it, I am willing to personally spend Baxter Bailey, that tragedy is really unbearable to watch. ()

Storm-y Weather (2017) (S05E13)

English The final episode was better than both previous episodes, although it wasn't great, it was good. While watching the series, I learned to ignore logic, but here it was too obvious. People were leaving the besieged prison like workers leaving for a beer during work hours, and if the prison wasn't besieged, it was still bizarre. Well, it could have been worse. ()

Season 6 (2018) (S06)

English As I said in my review of the thirteenth episode, it would be great if it was the season finale. Now there is a risk of Season 7 ruining the rest of what makes the series great. If replacing characters with new ones was supposed to revive the story, I can honestly say it failed to do so. With the exception of the crazy sisters, the flashbacks involved characters I couldn’t care less about, so it felt like a waste of time. Unfortunately, it turned out that quality retrospective scenes and the sacrificed characters were more important for the story than I’d thought. ()

Who Knows Better Than I (2018) (S06E01)

English I would gladly give the first episode of the sixth season a fourth star if it hadn't been for Suzanne's hallucinations. I understood that the creators wanted to present the events in high school in a funny and original way, but I wasn't too entertained by it, and therefore it seemed overly long to me. Apart from these scenes, however, I had a pretty good time and I was pleasantly surprised after my previous experience with the previous season. ()

Sh*tstorm Coming (2018) (S06E02)

English Throughout the whole time, I had a feeling while watching the second episode that it lacked excitement. The duo of Joe Caputo/ Natalie Figueroa, which always manages to entertain me, provided a little excitement in an otherwise uneventful plot. Apart from that, I didn't experience any significant moments. ()

Look Out for Number One (2018) (S06E03)

English Interrogations continue, so the same outcome as in the previous episode could be expected, but this time the creators did not forget about an interesting plot, they managed to sneak in some humor as well, and furthermore, my suspicion that Frieda is gradually becoming the most interesting character in the series has been confirmed. ()

I'm the Talking Ass (2018) (S06E04)

English This time it was clearly above average, but I miss some added value here, which would allow me to raise the rating. Unlike Wentworth, it was never just about pure drama here, but the comedy part, which made the series strong, is gradually fading away, and that's a shame. ()

Mischief Mischief (2018) (S06E05)

English Hmm, how to comment on this? It's hard to find new words when the fifth episode was on the same level as the previous one. The plot is still clearly better than many other series, which is not bad for the sixth season, but it lacks just a bit of quality humor for me to give it a fourth piece. What a shame. ()

State of the Uterus (2018) (S06E06)

English The creators evidently decided to produce an unremarkable, monotonous season. Already the third episode in a row brought a plot without any significant moments. Sure, among the viewers there are certainly coprophiles who enjoyed it this time, but I would rather have a decent portion of humor. ()

Changing Winds (2018) (S06E07)

English Finally, I was able to add to the rating, after three uninspiring episodes, a quite entertaining episode appeared, in which the creators stopped focusing on distributing excrements, started focusing on the story again, and decided to incorporate humor into the plot again after some time. ()

Gordons (2018) (S06E08)

English It seems that the creators have been successful in the second half of the season. At times, I even had the feeling that they were trying to return to the quality that I know from the first two seasons of the series. To summarize, I had a fairly good time, I didn't suffer from boredom, and four episodes are just right. ()
