The American film Valentine will only win you over if you haven't seen any other slasher films. It is a product of its time, when slashers were the fashion and the creators wanted to emulate the success of Scream. In this case, that didn't work at all. The only positive is the film’s attempt to have the characters die in a pretty interesting way, though it doesn't change the fact that it's kind of weird. The drill scene doesn't make much sense.
