Brian and Charlie are small time crooks looking for a way out. Their life of petty crime is becoming increasingly hazardous and they just want to go straight. When a large sum of money, intended for their homicidal, gangland boss, accidentally falls into their hands, Charlie and Brian see it as a getaway. But things don't go to plan and they end up having to take sanctuary in a convent for young girls, disguising themselves as nuns. Eric Idle and Robbie Coltrane are a pretty good duo to carry the entire film, but I feel that in terms of humor, there was a bit more that could have been gotten from it than was ultimately achieved. It just seems to be a worse variation of Some Like It Hot without the viewer being able to actually remember it and come back to the film.
