English Why the viewers didn't like Stewart Granger can be easily understood this time as well. And to say that, unlike Lex Barker, Pierre Brice didn't click with him as an acting partner, I believe that too. This may also be the reason why Vinnetou appears in the movie only halfway through. When I also reflect on the below-average supporting characters, the "anonymous" main villain, and the rather insignificant Old Surehand with a few years' distance, the rating is almost down to one filthy star. Because the book's Surehand is a magnificent triumph by May and the movie is even more of a disgrace. ()

English The plots repeat quite a bit, Vinnetou is pretty unnecessary in the movie, but I still enjoyed being able to see him here. Old Surehand is, moreover, such a good hero that I simply like his character and enjoy watching him. Again, it's quite comical, but the movie fits in easily among the various May movies. ()
