The movie tells the story of Apanatschi (Uschi Glas) and her little brother Happy who need protection by Winnetou (Pierre Brice) and Old Shatterhand (Lex Barker) because they know where a gold mine is. Bandits with their leader Curly Bill want to know, too - and they stop at nothing and even killed Apanatschi's father. (official distributor synopsis)

This story is quite weak, but just the fact that in the next movie you see Vinnetou and Shatterhand side by side is quite uplifting. Of course, assuming that you like the characters. However, what caught my attention the most was Götze George's character, who plays it brilliantly and essentially carries the film up with all his might. Apanači is quite adorable.
