Murakawa (Beat Takeshi), an established and ruthless gangster, is sent to intervene in a gang war on the island of Okinawa. A melancholic gangster movie that I need to watch once more. The playing on the beach and the overall happy mood makes the killers seem nice and, like the romantic storyline, it is very untraditional. The action is bloody and uncompromising and there is no shortage of cruel jokes. And Takeshi reminds me of my uncle in the way he behaves (but I don’t mean that he goes around shooting people). When you're scared all the time, you reach a point when you wish you were dead.
