In the Battlefields

Beirut, 1982. The silent and ingenuous life of Lina, a twelve-year-old girl, revolves around Siam, her aunt’s Syrian maid, aged eighteen. The little girl decides to watch over the older one. She helps organize her romantic rendezvous and defends her interests, yet she remains virtually invisible in the eyes of the maid and in the eyes of her family.
