Keep Up the Good Work

This documentary comedy looks broadly at work as a source of happiness as well as suffering. Director Konstantin Faigle invited sociologists, economists, theologians, philosophers, historians, psychologists and comedians to think about where Western civilisation finds itself in relation to work. Interviews and surveys accompany playfully staged sequences with a busy pensioner, burnt out engineer and hardworking production manager without orders or cynical insurance agents. The frequently disturbing ideas and issues are balanced by stories about people who have found an alternative to the current system. (One World)
