English I didn't find the acting to be particularly overwhelming. Aya did a much better job of showing she knows how to act three years earlier in Shooting Star. No one shone or stood out with their acting. But unfortunately, I found the characters a bit flat, with no edges to grab on and cling to. I'd say this is the kind of show that sticks because it doesn't really move anyone or anything forward. It does have its mission, that things will get better and everything will turn out okay, no matter what you've done, as long as you work hard and repent. There’s no drama, just a peaceful story of broken souls slowly healing from their hurts. Don't expect romance either, because while some couples do form up, it's mostly about friendship and family ties. And most importantly, it's all about forgiving yourself. So it's just an ordinary grey story with a message. And Takumi never showed up. ()
