Stop-Over

Swiss director of Iranian origin Kaveh Bakhtiari heads to Greece, one of the main stop-over points for immigrants to Europe. His cousin Mohsen has just arrived in Athens from Iran. He is waiting here along with other migrants to process documents and look for smugglers who can help him get to Western Europe. The director follows the fate of Mohsen and other migrants with similar stories who live in a kind of vacuum. The waiting seems endless... The film is an intimate glimpse into the lives of people willing to risk everything for their dreams. (One World)
