English This is a film record of a concert based on the musical of the story about the demonic Sweeney Todd by Stephen Sondheim. It’s not cutely obtrusive like other whoopee musicals. This one cuts deep. Dark tones, a complicated score and depression. Wreck and ruin on the visual side, while on the audio side is perfection. A CD would be quite sufficient. Maybe even a better experience. (12/01/2008)
