Fernando is adrift. The only consolations in the windy streets of Stockholm are drugs, his dog and mother Olga, who thinks that Fernando should be sent to stay with his decent brother Pablo in Colombia. The recovery of Fernando becomes a personal process for Pablo, who studies to become a doctor. Fernando himself aspires to find his own path, and their mother worries for them both. For fours years, the Swedish director Tora Mårtens followed the battle of the family trying to save one of its members. Everyone has difficult decisions to make and dreams of a better life. The whole is as incomplete as life itself. In the humane film both love and frustration loop around the same circle, and man is presented in his full complexity and beauty.
