Plots(1)

It has been several years since young Sawyer Nelson (Gamble) and the dedicated team at the Clearwater Marine Hospital, headed by Dr. Clay Haskett (Connick, Jr.), rescued Winter. With the help of Dr. Cameron McCarthy (Freeman), who developed a unique prosthetic tail for the injured dolphin, they were able to save her life. Yet their fight is not over. Winter's surrogate mother, the very elderly dolphin Panama, has passed away, leaving Winter without the only poolmate she has ever known. However, the loss of Panama may have even greater repercussions for Winter, who, according to USDA regulations, cannot be housed alone, as dolphins' social behavior requires them to be paired with other dolphins. Time is running out to find a companion for her before the team at Clearwater loses their beloved Winter to another aquarium. (Warner Bros. US)

English A dolphin is allegedly the most intelligent animal in the world. Maybe that is why they shot this movie about it, which is not that bad, but it is the type of classic animal movie that does not offend, does not enthuse, annoy or anger you. It is nice from beginning till the end. It is also sad only appropriately, because these wannabe Disney shows cannot end in any other way than in happy end. ()

English Given the qualities of the first film, which was only slightly above average, the second installment is actually a suitable and quite enjoyable continuation. It's great that the same actors were brought together and that the story is progressing, both in the case of dolphins and humans, whose destinies are quite interesting and it's evident that someone had at least a bit of fun with the script. Of course, within the genre of a family film. ()
