English I'm so glad I stumbled across this seemingly unremarkable film. It nicely shows how much rape can scar a girl and ruin her life. It was this part that crushed me the most emotionally. The ensuing revenge was, I thought, quite realistic, though an action-loving viewer might have imagined it differently. But that would have taken away from the seriousness of the situation and sent the film in a completely different direction. While I don't think one film can make a difference, it's certainly important to draw attention to the issue. I was pleasantly surprised by the acting of Bo-ra Nam, who can still play a teenager with her face at the age of almost twenty-five. 4 stars. ()
