Paloma is spending a holiday with her fifteen-year-old son in a hotel by the sea. Their relationship is more like that of long-time friends than that of a parent and child. They spend most of the time lying by the pool, discussing music, jumping in the water or just watching TV in the hotel room. However, Hector starts to grow into his manhood, which he gradually realizes the moment his peer, Jazmin arrives in the hotel. At first, Paloma is not in favor of her son's new relationship and initiates mischievous deeds against the new couple. Fernando Eimbcke's third feature film won the award for Best Director at the San Sebastian festival. (Febiofest)
