The outgoing tide in Brittany, filmed continuously for five hours at one frame every three minutes. The difference between high and low tide in Brittany is one of the greatest in the world; in some places the Atlantic recedes for 10 kilometres – especially in the northeast of the peninsular, where the low tide creates iconic compositions of long expanses of dry land with abandoned boats trapped in the wet sand.
The music comes from Pictures at an Exhibitionby Modest Mussorgsky. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
