When big city detective Michael (Will Wallace) relocates to the country with his wife Rachel (Emily Brooks) after the death of their young daughter, a job at the small sheriff's office holds the quiet life that he needs. However, on his first day in town Sheriff Hendricks (Don Swayze) informs him of an investigation into a missing teenage girl. When Michael discovers that the girl's boyfriend is currently living in a mental institution, his doctor (Dean Cain) suggests there may be evil spirits at play. Meanwhile, Rachel has nightmares about a bloodied child that leads her to the location of the missing girl. It is down to Michael to find out what's really going on in this sleepy town... The film "Revelation of Evil" brings absolutely nothing and pretends to be a completely mediocre exorcism horror, which it ultimately is. The only scary scene is when someone is singing, and you don't know who it is. Latin really won't save everything, and to say that it is a dead language won't exactly send shivers down your spine. Well, I doubt that Daric Gates will continue to make a living by directing horror films.
