There comes a time in every man's life when he must take a stand and fight for what is right. That time has come for wrestling promoter Frank Bass (Ed Asner).
In the ring, Frank has seen it all: careers take off, careers die. He knows the hard work, determination, and sheer dedication it takes to make it to the big-time, so when he finds out about an impending fixed fight, he know he has to take action. Complicating the matter are a few dishonorable wrestlers, shaming their profession by attempting to profit off the match. Unwilling to let these insults against the industry occur without a fight, Frank sets out to make the sport as honest and fair as it once was.
