Sepideh

Space versus the earth. Traditions versus the modern day. Science versus religion. Sepideh, 17, lives between rocks and hard places. A career as a scientist is not a given for a woman in Iran, but she is not giving in. Sepideh is Persian for 'the break of dawn', and she very much embodies her name: her future is wide open with possibilities even though the world around her tries to block her way.
