On the last night of their camping trip, the Morris family begin to encounter supernatural phenomena. Lights flash outside their tent. Three distinct star-like objects loom in the sky. Their GPS seems to be luring them into isolated areas and no one can get a phone signal. 11 year-old Riley films the whole thing on his camcorder. As night falls, the family discovers that the myths of alien abductions are very real, and events build to a horrifying conclusion in the skies above Brown Mountain. (Signature Entertainment)

"For die-hard found footage enthusiasts, 'Alien Abduction' is a fairly tolerable film, but for horror lovers, it's just one of many. There is nothing that sets it apart, at least not significantly enough to make the film stand out and bring something slightly new to the genre. It doesn't bring anything new and just wallows in clichés. Personally, I simply found that in a film, I want to know what is happening. But I still mainly see the genre as an opportunity for those who don't have the means to shoot otherwise, because they lack money. Speaking of which, the special effects are not bad."

Another unoriginal found-footage. I’m tired of this :( Theoretically, it’s quite effective in some places, but there’s been too many already…
