The story may have again deviated from the course, but even though a side plot was being dealt with this time, it is already clear that these events will also influence the main plot, so it was definitely not just filler, like I often come across in other series. Kilgrave has taken his obsession a step further and Jeri is planning something shady, so let's head to the next episode.
