English For Jesús Franco, this is quite a coherent film that actually makes sense and, at the same time, doesn’t lack the Spanish trashiness of the 1970s. Particularly the energetic pop music in the scenes of murder carried out by the beautiful (naked) avenging widow. It’s not about suspense, but rather about the tragic loss that she experiences and her hatred for the wrongdoers. You will greatly enjoy the shots of the avenger’s angry eyes. In fact, She Killed in Ecstasy is a melodrama degenerated into revenge exploitation. Horst Tappert plays the detective – three years before the famous Derrick! Which makes Franco a kind of Spanish Roger Corman! ()

English I like Jesús Franco. That's why I like the styling of the film She Killed in Ecstasy. Sure, it's not great in terms of the sex or violence. But it has its charms. However, the film is also almost 50 years old! That's not a small thing. It's a fact that the horror film She Killed in Ecstasy has to hit the right note because otherwise, it will be quite ordinary for you. In my case, it hit the right note, even with its imbalance. ()
