It's supposed to be a paradise holiday; a group of five young friends travel to Panama for the vacation of a lifetime. While partying, they meet Carmen, a beautiful native, with stories about a stunning waterfall deep in the jungle. Other locals caution them against the journey, warning them that those who have set out in search of the waterfall have mysteriously disappeared. Ignoring the warnings the group set off to find the hidden oasis. What begins as a fun outing quickly turns terrifying when their guide mysteriously vanishes. As night closes in, the friends realise that they're being stalked by a ravenous creature. As they try to escape, it becomes clear that the legend of the Chupacabra has some truth to it after all. English No matter what I try to convince myself, I am worn out by found footage films and I am probably no longer able to watch them objectively. Although the film "Indigenous" did not completely disappoint me, it is just another movie that is shot in a style that no longer brings anything new to horror. Or am I wrong? But "Indigenous" is not exactly proof that it still makes sense to make similar films. ()
