Gloria Victoria

Verging on the abstract and using surrealist and cubist elements, Theodor Ushev's film Gloria Victoria thematises the relation between art and war. The animation is inspired by the development of a motive in a symphony by Shostakovich and uses all contrasts offered by the theme and by the culminating music. It is artistically impressive and fascinating show. (Anifilm)
