A new born girl is abandoned in a coin operated locker in the subway station. The girl is sold off to a woman referred to simply as Mother, the boss of a remorseless loan shark group. Raised by thieves and debt collectors, now 18, Il-young carries out missions given to her by her mother and she is exposed to the world that everyone calls normal .
