Eleven-year-old Kateřina wants to be a police dog handler and rescue worker; with the help of her dog she will rescue injured people from rubble. She lives with her mother and sister in the small Czech town of Smiřice. Her mother runs a dog shelter and associated cynology circle. Kateřina often helps her at the shelter and participates in the cynology circle. Kateřina and her younger sister have rescue dogs – Border Collies. Kateřina and Copi undergo regular rescue training and exams focused on rescuing disaster victims from the rubble, which normally only adults do. (Zlín Film Festival)
