After some past screw-ups police officer Rose Cooper (Reese Witherspoon) gets an opportunity to prove herself when she is given the job of protecting Felipe Riva (Vincent Laresca), who turned informer against cartel boss Vincente Cortez (Joaquín Cosio), and his wife Daniella (Sofía Vergara). While collecting the Rivas from their house they come under attack from masked gunmen and Cooper manages to escape with Daniella. From then on one thing after another goes wrong and the situation gets increasingly out of hand. Can Cooper protect Daniella from harm and gain the respect of her colleagues? (Warner Home Video)

Childish but at least well-paced. The different characters of “silly but cute” Reese Witherspoon and “foxy” Sofía Vergara complement each other in the right comedic way. The movie’s target audience will be satisfied.

I got exactly what I’d wanted. An awesome Reese Witherspoon and a tough Sofía Vergara, who kept dropping funny lines, which were sometimes better, sometime worse. But the movie definitely helped me relax.

An easy-going and enjoyable comedy, actually a variation on Midnight Run, with the lovely Reese Witherspoon. But Sofia Vergara was a bit too annoying for my taste.

Reese Witherspoon is a pretty insufferable character, but is still a cute and likeable girl, and Sofia Vergara is simply a gorgeous piece of woman that every guy would want to see on a daily basis, and her "in high heels with a low cleavage" role was written exactly for her body. However, as beautiful as they are to watch, the story sounds more like a casual fooling around by two shouting friends who wanted to contribute to the lighter waters of cinematic feminism and remind us that even absurd female team-ups have their days in action comedies. Nothing against it, but it wasn't fun even to the extent that it could be called a fine diversion, let alone a fun sexy diversion. For movies with similar themes, I’ll always prefer the masculine Midnight Run, beautiful girls are not everything. 40%

Honestly - this was really dumb. But for some reason I actually enjoyed it. After seeing Reese Witherspoon’s performance, I’m secretly hoping that someone will cast her in the role of Adolf Hitler, I'm sure she would do an excellent job :-) Sofía Vergara was a very distracting character whenever the camera was on her, I could not concentrate on the subtitles and every time she spoke, she instantly made me laugh. The plot was simple, some of the jokes were probably intended for people with a lower IQ, but it was still great fun.
