Who wrote that Dylan Thomas died of a broken heart and crushed soul? This Steven Bernstein film leaves no doubt that it might have been just the opposite. This is a story of the last days of poetry’s true rockstar, but mostly of the notorious 3rd of November, 1953, when touring Thomas drinks himself into a coma in New York’s White Horse Tavern. After emptying the 18th glass of whisky he announces – according to legend – that this must be a record. (Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival)
