Radiant yoga instructor MAY (Jessica Biel) has her wholesome life thrown out of balance by the arrival of her long-lost biological sister SHIVA (Zosia Mamet of the hit HBO show GIRLS), a street-smart yet naïve young woman with an abusive boyfriend. This movie really pissed me off. I actually like movies that are about self-destruction of a person, but not when the self-destruction is just plain stupid. Biel really bothered me, and I longed for her to be on the other side by the end. The story itself is good, but the motivations are so flimsy, it hurt.
