Radiant yoga instructor MAY (Jessica Biel) has her wholesome life thrown out of balance by the arrival of her long-lost biological sister SHIVA (Zosia Mamet of the hit HBO show GIRLS), a street-smart yet naïve young woman with an abusive boyfriend. This movie really pissed me off. I quite enjoy movies that delve into self-destruction, but not when that self-destruction stems from utter foolishness. Biel really bothered me and I longed for her to be on the other side at the end. The story itself is good, but the motivations are so flimsy they rustle like paper, which hurts the overall experience.
