Kakekomi are runaway women seeking refuge from their unhappy marriages in the temple Tokei-ji. It's a really good picture. Beautiful setting, great acting, and the story was above average. The voiceover was very nice, too – it matched the overall feel of the setting. Even though it was over two hours long, it went by quite quickly. It's nothing action-packed, just a simple historical (love) story from the lives of several women.
