Young Noeli lives with her unemployed boyfriend and makes her living by "relationships" with mostly elderly immigrants. She has such a relationship with an older French woman (Geraldine Chaplin), who will hopefully not only provide her with material security, but also take her on a trip to Paris. But the situation gets complicated when Noeli's pregnancy is confirmed and she is knocked off her motorcycle and mugged on her way from a party. The subtle drama focuses on the story of two different women and simultaneously touches the topic of social problems of today's Dominican Republic. (Febiofest)
