Northern Soul is the story of a youth culture in the 1970’s, which changed a generation. No longer satisfied with the prospect of a small town life and a factory production line two young boys dream mof going to America to discover rare records which will help them become the best DJ’s on the scene. Good music, interesting, ultimately romantic story that shows how life was in the 70s in Britain. The characters are interesting, just like the era being portrayed. It may not appeal to everyone, but I quite liked it. It's not a great masterpiece, but does it really matter when you just need to soak in the atmosphere a bit?
