The Bad Batch follows Arlen (Suki Waterhouse) after she's left in a Texas wasteland fenced off from civilization. While trying to navigate the unforgiving landscape, Arlen is captured by a savage band of cannibals led by the mysterious Miami Man (Jason Momoa). With her life on the line, she makes her way to The Dream (Keanu Reeves). As she adjusts to life in 'The Bad Batch' Arlen discovers that being good or bad mostly depends on who's standing next to you. (Mongrel Media)

English A post-apocalyptical madness that gets off to a brutal start only to later degrade to total apathy. In the beginning, you get a heroine who got kidnapped. You know nothing. Then someone chops off her leg and arm and some local hobos cook and eat those chopped-off limbs. You stare at it in a horrified fascination, waiting for what comes next. But nothing comes next, except for boredom and vexation. The icing on the cake is the monologue Keanu Reeves that lasts fifteen minutes and says jack shit. Fascinating. ()

English The Bad Batch is a film to watch if you want to see something unconventional, intense, with strong characters and a gritty plot that will hit you hard. The film softens a little here and there, but you still get the feeling that it's something really rough. However, if you want to see a horror film, look elsewhere. This is gritty and animalistic, but not horror. ()
