How far will you go to protect your life? Casey is facing every teenagers nightmare, as an anonymous hacker plans to leak her private photos to the public through the Internet, she races against time in order to end the stalker's scheme. 69% of young people in the UK have experienced some form of cyber bullying. In the most severe cases, victims can face webcam hacking, exploitation and 'suicide trolling'. Anti-bullying campaigns urge teenagers to 'walk away' from online abuse, but for those caught in the grip of bullying, turning their backs on their tormentors is not easy. In THE CYBERBULLY Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) is Casey Jacobs, a teenage girl battling with her anonymous cyber-stalker in a real-time thriller. Casey is a teenager who experiences the worst the web has to offer – from peer-to-peer bullying to advanced computer hacking – and fights to overcome her ordeal. The Cyberbully is inspired by dozens of real-life cases. What happens to Casey is extreme, and framed in a dramatic format, yet all the events depicted are possible and indeed have happened to victims individually. (Cinemax)

English I caught up on this five-year old film, which is surprisingly very good for a TV production. Maisie Williams, better known as Arya, has an unpleasant night when an anonymous hacker starts threatening to leak her personal photos onto the internet. The film is only an hour long and manages to build a decent atmosphere, Arya gives a decent performance and the denouement is quite surprising. In terms of Skype thrillers, Cyberbully is definitely one of the better ones, and I find myself quite enjoying this kind of stuff as well. Story***, Action>No, Humor>No, Violence>No,, Entertainment****, Music***, Visuals***, Atmosphere****, Suspense****. 7/10. ()

English As a person who was born into the era of the Internet, Cyberbully kept me on tenterhooks from the very beginning until the end. I admit that it was a bit over the top with the hacker, but on the other hand, the movie perfectly constructed a story that is uncertain from the start to the end. And the great Maisie Williams was, as the imaginary icing on the most brutal cake under the sun overshadowed by bullying, absolutely fantastic. ()
