Plots(1)
Balogh Éva makes a trip up to the town of Pest for her friend's wedding, but the wedding ceremony is cancelled due to the fiancé's withdrawal (for the 3rd time). Éva erroneously calls one of the guests, the world famous pianist, Murray Pál to account, who she mistakenly thinks is to blame for the promise of marriage he has not kept. The pianist, who has a long list of mistresses past and present, assumes, judging by the slaps given by the temperamental woman, who is a lady representative of the gentry, that Éva is one of his former, long-forgotten sweethearts. By the time the real state of affairs comes to light, they both find themselves head over heels in love with each other. Now is the time for another slap in Murray's face, this time target unmistakably correct, which, however, fails to separate them. (official distributor synopsis)
