English As a zombie film, King of the Zombies is overly traditional, a bit about nothing, and certainly doesn't have the surprise it theoretically could have had at the time of its release. But it's the humor that helps the film, that lifts it up, and that makes the hour and a bit definitely not wasted time. It's not a good horror film, but it's a fun comedy with elements that have horror origins. ()
