English Before I went to the cinema to see this movie, I read a review I came across somewhere, and it stuck in my mind that "the main reason to go see Mune: Guardian of the Moon is the imaginary world it is set in." Well, that is true. It has a very straightforward narrative, which is quite predictable, and I have to say that I did not find it very moving, and the characters did not appeal to me either. For example, I was not too fond of the character Sohone for most of the movie. The only character that stuck in my head besides Mune and Glim was probably Spleen, who was like the robot Marvin from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. However, I liked the imaginary world, its colors, ideas, physics, and logic a lot; all of this had its magic. So did all the creatures that lived there, from the huge "temples" to the cute "furry tennis shoes" and all sorts of "crossbreeds" (the purest creature on the planet is a lamb with a bird's head and antlers). So instead of following a simple narrative, which was mostly predictable, my attention was diverted to various details and corners of this beautiful planet. I also have to appreciate the change of animation when the main protagonists entered Dreamland, it was surprising, and I liked it. To sum up, I thought Mune: Guardian of the Moon was below average, for the most part. However, the ideas and the beautiful setting pull it up to slightly above-average for me, 6.2/10. ()

English The story is especially cruel and traditional in this case, with no unexpected twists, which is sad mainly because the visual aspect is simply magnificent. Not only the main 3D animation, but also the episodic one that appears here. I really enjoyed watching it, especially some of the graphic designs. Someone really had fun with the characters here. ()
