A Hunger Artist

Not uttering so much as a word, a man decides to go on a hunger strike, creating a great deal of confusion all around him, as well as media expectation. For his long-awaited return to directing, Masao Adachi wanted to adapt one of Kafka's most famous stories, taking it to contemporary Japan in the form of an absurd comedy. (Sitges Film Festival)
