An astronaut crash lands on an asteroid named Rheton where the inhabitants are six inches tall. He too is reduced in size by the planet's atmosphere, aflls in love with a beautiful mute girl and helps the inhabitants fight their ancient enemies - the Solaries - giant dog-faced monsters.
