Frank Henenlotter is an icon for me, I simply like his movies. It is trashy junk, but trashy junk made with love somehow. It's something that resonates with me, also because it's entertaining and it tries to incorporate some cool tricks, which in this case can be a bit awful at times, but when it comes to the masks, it's magnificent, especially the ending is excellent.
