K2: Touching the Sky

Hanna was not even born when her father plunged to certain death during his attempt to climb K2 , the world's second highest mountain. Lukasz was four years old when his mother died in climbing the same mountain. Chris and Lindsay's mother was the first British woman to climb K2, but neither she came back. During "the black summer 1986" there was a no less than ten climbers who died on K2. Three decades later Hanna, Lukasz, Chris and Lindsay visit K2. Together they tell about that dualism in the grief of losing a parent while falling in love with climbing themselves. (Tempo Documentary Festival)
