Anna Biller directs this comedy horror starring Samantha Robinson, Jeffrey Vincent Parise and Laura Waddell which pays homage to the Technicolor thrillers of the 1960s and 70s. A young and beautiful witch named Elaine (Robinson) uses her magic to devise spells and craft concoctions which will grant her what she desires: a man who loves her. Inconveniently however, her creations work too well and every man she seduces ends up dead. She finally finds the perfect man for her, but her willful desire to feel loved may send her over the edge and into a heady brew of passion, madness and death. (Icon Home Entertainment)

hallucinogenically seductive erotica, music à la Ennio Morricone and a bizarre, folklore fairy-tale ending. Samantha
Robinson forever; I’m adding a questionable third star just for her.

A live broadcast from cinematic hell that isn't afraid to base its entire existence on a two-hour repetition of a single joke, but one that isn't even particularly good, let alone original. Considering the nodding heads of overseas bloggers excited about feminist overreach, I'm glad I don't have a vagina, or I'd go throw up immediately.

The American film The Love Witch is definitely can definitely captivate, but not horror fans. Its classification on some databases in the horror genre is simply misguided. Still, it is a film worth watching. Yes, it's a bit weird and the runtime is a bit too long, but on the other hand, it's an experience that you don’t get to have every day. Which is also a good thing.
