Software developer Emma (Garfunkel & Oates's Kate Micucci) has an unusual problem. This lovelorn romantic and astrology skeptic is just settling into a new life in San Francisco when her beloved cat Ajax and dog Summit go missing. But the heavens have a wry sense of humor, for an alignment of planets has transformed both pets into humans, with their four-legged memories intact. So begins this playful farce, full of daft physical comedy and plenty of jokes for dog and cat lovers alike as these two unlikely paramours vie for Emma's affection. Will the goofy, amiable mutt prevail, or the wily, charismatic feline? Rich with Bay Area locations, this sweet-natured comedy brings in charming support from Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings) and Illeana Douglas (Ghost World) and makes the most of an absurd premise with a tone that's irreverent and gleefully devoid of cynicism while still mining emotional truths. A treat. (Good boy!) (Mill Valley Film Festival)

English It’s a pretty crazy movie with a girl who doesn’t know what she wants in the leading role. She lives with a dog and a cat. After one night the cat and the dog turn into humans and they start pursuing the girl. The movie is full of absurdity but it’s very sweet. I wasn’t laughing hard watching it but it was quite nice. English The rather bizarre main plot involving the transformation of a cat and a dog into supposedly attractive men wouldn't bother me so much if it didn't all feel like a cheap romance for naive ugly ducklings. Several scenes may provide some amusement, but the easily predictable ending and the hardly digestible performances of the main protagonists prevent this comedy from surpassing the threshold of average cinematic entertainment.
