Adam Goldberg, Pat Healy, Harry Hamlin and Nicky Whelan star as members of a mysterious self-help group (possibly a cult). Fran Kranz plays their newest recruit. Rebirth simultaneously satirizes the buddy comedy and embraces the thriller format, resulting in a film that is at one moment hilarious and at the next, deeply disturbing. (Tribeca Film Festival)

This film has its flaws and it could have been pushed towards something slightly better, but I like the idea of this "rebirth" which could have been even grittier, but it still shook the hero psychologically, and I also appreciate the sarcastic ending that suited it. I enjoyed the actors, although I thought Fran Kranz was a little too intense in places.

A cheap version of Fincher’s The Game with a minimum amount of mysterious elements and a maximum amount of American male hysteria. Which is actually even worse than its American “woo-girl” counterpart.
