English The second episode was even better than the first, focusing more on the royal couple's relationship while pushing the main political events into the background. Maybe that's why it felt stronger — the creators did a great job portraying the complexities of their relationship. ()

English An exceptional episode, the only one so far to show a person other than Elizabeth in the lead role. A tribute to Philip that gives him the opportunity to excel exactly as he needs to. A man who was in a very difficult situation and handled it with true aplomb. A man of many talents who dedicated his life to a "higher principle". From the perspective of the male ego, this could almost be a heroic feat. Deservedly, he is the one who takes this episode all to himself. ()
