English In terms of the political reconstruction of a significant event, it’s brilliantly shot; moderate, with an emphasis on factual accuracy. Filmmaking-wise, it loses a bit of the dynamism and entertainment effect, but it still manages to combine both of these key elements more than capably. Another top quality episode. ()

English It seems that while Brits aren't particularly troubled by Munich 1938, the most painful chapter in their history is the former monarch's ties to the Nazi regime. This episode leaned more towards the political side, yet the impact of Edward/David's past decisions on his family was unmistakably evident. ()
