The great Charles Dance, who steals all the attention with his role as a die-hard patriot, and at the same time, quite deservedly, steals the whole episode for himself. His analysis of the mission's chances of success is the highlight of the entire forty-five minutes.

In the fifth episode, Elizabeth and the entire royal family were noticeably sidelined, and it left me feeling a bit disappointed. The hint of an anti-government coup involving Lord Mountbatten didn't quite grab me as much as I had hoped.
